Annalee Mice help tell a classic story
		Most everyone has heard of the author Beatrix Potter, but less familiar is her story of ‘The Tailor of Gloucester’. It is the story of a tailor, whose work on a waistcoat is finished by the small mice he rescued from a cat. This tale is the theme for the High School of Fashion Industries street front windows in New York City. In the process of designing the window scenes, the students discovered Annalee mice and knew they would be perfect to represent thosein the story. The result of the talented students’ hard work is several beautiful displays that can be enjoyed by all that pass by.

Hundreds of Christmas Annalee dolls on display!

The Family Museum of Bettendorf, Iowa is getting into the holiday spirit. At this time every year, volunteers bring out hundreds of Christmas items to put on display for their annual Winterfest exhibit. Included in this magical display are over 400 Christmas Annalee dolls. Those smiling elf faces have made their way onto the pages of the current issue of Christmas Ideas, a publication of Better Homes & Gardens.

"Magical faces pop up in unusual places as Eddie Montgomery readies his home for Christmas. Whimsical Welcome! New to Eddie Montgomery this year is the largest of his elves, below. Measuring nearly 3 feet tall, this elf
is adorned with glitter snowflakes. Eddie’s attic is packed with at least 200 Annalee elves, mice, angels, Santas, Easter and Halloween figures, a pig, a flamingo, cats, and two pilgrims, so he had promised not to buy any more. But this one he couldn’t resist."
